Please Dont Touch Anything

Press anything to continue

Please, Don’t Touch Anything is a puzzle game from Four Quarters, creators of Loop Hero, here we have their first game, with a simple premise, don't touch anything, how long will we last without pressing it? How many consequences will we observe?

Desk
A button, a screen and a switch, what else do you need?

Our Workspace

You are... in an office? With a desk that appears to have only a button and a screen displaying a city, after our first task—the game's title—we are free to do whatever we want in our workspace (the switch below allows us to restart after all).

(+) Every ending, or most of them, is a creative reference to popular culture.

(-) Since there is little to explore, each sequence has repetitive patterns (at least at the beginning).

ending
Oh look, a mushroom
another ending
We won't be pressing a button all the time.

What can we do?

Gameplay wise theres not much to do, you can press the button and reveal some others button and tools, what can we do with them? Well, press them! but you probably will receive no response. To learn more, you must observe your surroundings, zeros and ones, directions, patterns—everything counts.

But to unlock all endings (those little lights underneath indicate how many endings there are) you will need very specific knowledge (Translate binary to morse as example).

(+) There is a lot to explore, surprisingly.

(-) Some require very meticulous deductions, almost being ridiculous.

Process
Do you know the Fibonacci sequence? Well, too bad!

Recommendation

Please Dont Touch Anything is quite the experience, that's for sure, If you're willing to rack your brains over every ending (or use a guide, we won't judge), you'll find it fun in its own way. If puzzles aren't your thing, you could still give it a look, it's cheap.

Coffe
At the end, we'll earn a cup of coffe :)

It's just pressing a button, right?
