Graphics and Visuals: 9/10
Wow, from the get-go, the game just looks amazing. The bright, cartoon style and all the little things they put into the world make the city feel alive and fun. The way they switch between 2D and 3D is super cool – almost magic-like – as you move around. The graphics aren't just for show, either. They help with the puzzles and make exploring cool. Every place feels like something's going on.
Gameplay and Puzzle Design: 8.5/10
The individual puzzles were well thought out and designed—made the most of my creative thinking, that is, the puzzling was not at all easy nor did it become frustrating. The game progressively leads through the innovations and at the same time, my thinking is being developed through the drawing out of the box. I particularly liked the way puzzles often needed to play with signs, doors, and paths to move forward, thus fully interacting with the surroundings. The rhythm of the playing feels very natural, with the cuts being almost invisible, which kept me immersed all the time.
Length and Content: 7/10
The game is short – it took me about 4, it can last for more, maybe around 6 hours if looked around and do all the secret rooms. I feet like it was the right length for a puzzle game, but some people might want more.
Price and Value: 7/10
Because it's short, The Pedestrian costs a bit much, I would advise waiting for a discount. The cool looks and smart puzzles do make it kind of worth it. but there's not much to do after the main quest, I probably won't play it a lot.
Sound and Atmosphere: 8/10
The sound goes well with the visuals, with soft background music and sounds that build the city feeling. It’s not too loud, letting me focus on puzzles while still being in the game world.
Overall Experience: 8.2/10
The Pedestrian was fun, really a well crafted game that combines how it looks with the smart puzzles. casual players and puzzle experts can enjoy together as one. Though its short length and little replay value might not be great for some, I felt it was worth it. I’d tell anyone who likes creative puzzle-platformers and great art to play it, mainly during a sale. It’s cool and different.
